ACE Committee (AMI Community Education) - focuses on significantly increasing consumer knowledge and early recognition of the signs and symptoms of heart attack and the need to call 911. The Committee works to develop and disseminate consistent, evidence-based messages for statewide delivery to at-risk populations and providers to measure increased reach and awareness among target audiences.
Women and Heart Health Committee - works to promote CVH for women in Maine through the development of several resources to help educate people about cardiovascular disease and women. Developed materials include spokesperson trainings, Wisdom Gained from the Heart DVD, Bingo in the Heart of Maine, and others.
